The Brief

Envirotecture approached Harvey to refine how they communicate their identity, work, and values to a broader, like-minded audience. The main objective was to refresh their website, effectively conveying their high-quality, science-driven approach, as well as future-proofing their digital presence with a timeless visual design and practical marketing templates.

The Solution

We started by working with Envirotecture to figure out their brand strategy and visual identity refresh. This helped inform the design and builf of the new website, where we collaborated on content to clearly show off their unique value and all the different services they offer. To keep their brand looking consistent everywhere, we also created design templates, like letterheads, reports, presentation decks, and email newsletters.

The Impact

The refreshed brand and website significantly enhanced Envirotecture's communication, clearly articulating their value, and what differentiates them from competitors. User engagement on the new website increased by 115% within the first 30 days, alongside a dramatic reduction in SEO errors and a 60-70% improvement in load speed. The new, easy-to-use marketing templates seamlessly integrate with their existing software, empowering their outreach.

Highlights

Refreshing the Envirotecture visual brand

Envirotecture's tired brand needed a refresh to reflect a recent merger, aiming for a more regenerative and timeless look & feel. They sought a human-focused, earthy, genuine, and visual brand that felt clean, contemporary, and distinctly Australian, while avoiding corporate or overly gendered aesthetics. The solution simplified the existing logo and gave its insignia a new, sketched appearance. We then delivered a clean graphic language, featuring a colour palette inspired by nature and biophilic design, with names like 'Eucalyptus' and 'Dark Jarrah'. This visual foundation was enhanced by client-supplied hand-drawn sketches, adding a touch of warmth. To evoke an architectural feel, we integrated grids and simple shapes, complemented by legible Google Fonts chosen for their functionality and G Suite compatibility: 'Trykker' for headings and 'Public Sans' for body text.
